The Sheriff Rules!

One of our members, Steve, recently came upon a supreme court case that impressed him so much that he had to seek out and find the plaintiff in the case and speak with him. His name is Sheriff Mack and here is an introduction video.

This patriot stood against the federal government and said that he, as a sovereign and duly elected Sheriff, need not obey the federal governments directives (the case came out of the 1994 Brady bill) and argued that he is the supreme law enforcement agent in his county and he can not be instructed by ANY federal agency to do ANYTHING and the United States Supreme court agreed with him in this 1998 decision.

The county sheriff is our best hope at stopping tyranny. No federal agency can operate within his/her jurisdiction without the sheriff’s permission. We are the only nation to directly elect our chief law enforcement officers (the county sheriff) and thus, they ultimately must answer to us, the voters and citizens.

Our goal is to inform our sheriffs by giving them Sheriff Mack’s book “The County Sheriff, America’s Last Hope” http://www.sheriffmack.com/

Steve has already given copies of this book to the sheriffs in Jefferson (Mink) and Araphoe (Robinson) counties. He spoke directly with Sheriff Mink who who was appreciative and curious, and admitted that most Sheriffs are ill informed also.

Our goal is to inform as many as possible in all 64 counties of Colorado!

Steve has started an “Adopt a Sheriff in Colorado” campaign and needs volunteers who will select a county sheriff that hasn’t yet been adopted and mail a copy (better to deliver it in person) to the sheriff and follow up with a phone call, email or letter. This is a very effective way at bringing power back to the local level.

I’ve been saying this for months folks…we need to focus on our sheriff’s FIRST! Then, in order of importance, the State Attorney General, County Comisioners/Town Council, Govenor, State Senators/Legilators, THEN on the US Senate race. We must make sure we have a strong local government!
