3rd Survey of Colorado’s Political Temperature Underway
- After Tuesday’s election results, do Colorado conservatives feel more confident about 2010?
- How does Ryan Frazier’s switch from the Senate to CD 7 affect views of both races?
- Which of the Republican candidates for governor has the “Big Mo”?
…And more!
Following their first two well-received surveys, a pair of Colorado’s most established and respected conservative voices in the political blogosphere once again invite the state’s political observers and activists to share their opinions in an online survey to shed light on current state and national issues, candidates, and trends. The survey – more in-depth than your average, run-of-the-mill straw poll – takes less than 15 minutes to complete.
The survey is available online at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=rItEvIobdJGR353lLvGDiA_3d_3d
Recipients are invited not only to take the survey, but also to pass it on to anyone they know who might appreciate the opportunity. Only one vote per computer or unique IP will be allowed to help ensure accuracy.
“With some exciting results from the 2009 elections in the book, it’s time to see if preferences and predictions for 2010 have started to change,” said Michael Sandoval (aka El Presidente) of Slapstick Politics (http://slapstickpolitics.blogspot.com).
Results and cross-tab analyses of the July and September surveys (each of which garnered more than 500 responses) are available at http://www.scribd.com/Ben%20DeGrow
“Like the last two, this survey is unscientific,” said Ben DeGrow of the blog Mount Virtus (http://bendegrow.com). “But it should take a good pulse of the base on a number of issues and candidates, and generate some political water-cooler talk before the holidays kick in.”
The survey will be open until Friday, November 13, 5 PM local time. The survey is not affiliated with any political candidate, political party organization, or any third-party entity.
Sandoval and DeGrow are both members of the Rocky Mountain Alliance 2.0 (http://rma2.blogspot.com) and the People’s Press Collective (http://peoplespresscollective.org), informal networks of Right-leaning, pro-liberty new media activists in Colorado. Poll editing graciously provided by Mary Ila MacFarlane.
