Colorado Liberty News and Events Week of 8 June 09

wtpmarkwebmedium1Monday, Mr. Robert Schulz, the founder of We the People Foundation and We the People Congress, in all fifty states, in conjunction with the Colorado State leadership, will host a press conference on Monday, June 8th at 9:00 am in the press room of the State Capitol building. Also, We the People Foundation will be hosting an additional press conference in Colorado Springs at 2:30. Monday evening, We the People Colorado Congress and their founder Robert ‘Bob’ Schulz will be hosting an educational event at the City Auditorium in downtown Colorado Springs, from 6-10 p.m.

Wednesday, the Gunnison County We the People Congress meets. 

 

global_5533123Liberty on the Rocks hosts its first ever BBQ at Washington Park in Denver on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Boulder has it’s first Liberty on the Rocks at Conor O’Neills pub in Boulder. Liberty on the Rocks also meets in the South Metro, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins for their regularly scheduled night of liberty and drink.

Saturday, the group Educate BEFORE You VACCINATE is having a lecture in Colorado Springs featuring several guest speakers.

    In case you missed it, Gov. Ritter signed House Bill 1288 and Jon Caldara comments. Gov. Ritter also signed the repeal of the 1991 Arveschoug-Bird statute. Clear the Bench Colorado chimes in with some wisdom on that bad news. If we thought Colorado had budget issues before, we haven’t seen anything yet.
