Special District Accountability
David K. Williams Jr. has posted a Liberty alert at People’s Press Collective asking people to contact their State Senators regarding SB87.
David writes, “Can we help? YES WE CAN. The homebuilders oppose the bill because quite often the real estate developer “becomes” the special district. The PRIVATE developer BECOMES the GOVERNMENT.
The special districts don’t want to have to tell mere taxpayers what they are up to. Special Districts are corporatism at its worst. Don’t let the paid lobbyists for special interests win this one.”
