Front Range Objectivism’s newest endeavors are Atlas Shrugged Reading Groups (ASRG). In these groups, members read and discuss Ayn Rand’s epic novel Atlas Shrugged over the course of twenty weekly meetings. Each meeting lasts ninety minutes; it covers about sixty pages of the novel. (Other formats might be tried in 2010.) Discussion is guided by questions prepared by Diana Hsieh and given to members in advance. FRO’s Atlas Shrugged Reading Groups are open to any fan of the novel interested in discussing the characters, events, and ideas of the novel in greater depth.
Three Atlas Shrugged Reading Groups are planned for 2009 and 2010:
- Longmont Atlas Shrugged Reading Group (Atlas2) will meet on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Borders (1101 S. Hover Street) in Longmont. It will start on October 1st. The group is managed by Ari Armstrong (ari@frontrangeobjectivism.com). Interested? View more information or subscribe to the e-mail list.
