About

The ColoradoFreedom.net logo demonstrates various important elements representing the sites philosophical foundations, and symbolizing our great State.  The most recognizable element of the logo is the symbol representing the Roman messenger god Mercury.  Mercury was also the deity who watched over trade and commerce. He is commonly associated with peace and prosperity.  The other important element–within the Mercury symbol–is the C representing Colorado.  It is surrounded by yellow (representing gold) and blue (another color in the CO flag).

ColoradoFreedom.net provides opinion, videos, pictures, and information about Colorado politics, news, and events that relate to individual liberty, the free market, and limited government. With no-regard for political correctness or party affiliation we strive to deconstruct policy and issues with often times a satiric prose and others a bold voice striking at the heart of collectivism. If you seek to deny liberty, we respond. Usually within a week…unless we are on vacation. We seek no financial gain (capital investors are tapped), political influence, position of power, or acclaim.Well, maybe a little acclaim.

ColoradoFreedom.net is a non-partisan website – we’re not particularly fond of any party at the moment. We also don’t like most candidates…unless they want to advertise. In that case we support you. However do not imply this as an endorsement as that would require somebody competent to do that. Sometimes we will promote an event or organization but if you find the rally really sucked, or the liberty event was more painful than an IRS audit, don’t blame us.

ColoradoFreedom.net provides links to various groups, organizations, and websites. Some of these sites are great but this also does not imply an endorsement as that would again require someone to check out the group and who has time for that these days.

ColoradoFreedom.net is not affiliated with any group, organization, Tea party, 9-12 organization, campaign, Tupperware party, or coffee party as it’s tough enough to get up and toil in this world of a massive government and taxation as it is. We occasionally attend a Liberty On The Rocks event, People’s Press Collective Camp, Independence Institute Event, or Mises Circle. The odds of attending any of these are directly related to the probability of alcohol and/or austrian economic discussion. Frankly, it’s amazing we’ve found the time to write this ‘About’ page considering the hours it take to provide such mind-blowing commentary, photos, videos, and bi-polar dribble here on ColoradoFreedom.net.

Coloradofreedom.net is not responsible for any grammatical mistakes, punctuation errors, lack of theme, incoherent ramblings, lack of humor or any other literary transgressions as most of the writing is a by-product of the state run school systems. It’s not our fault.
